The CMW Approach
Hi, my Name is Clint Murray Wilkie.
I am a self-employed Computer Analyst. I provide all kinds of computer services. I have a programming background in C++, Java, Visual Basic, plus a few oldies but goodies. I develop and maintain Web sites, from simple HTML, to more complex dynamic sites using ASP, and databases. I also provide on site computer installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
What makes me stand out?
I believe in letting the customer in on what I'm doing as I do
it. Many companies try to keep the customer in the dark, afraid
that if the customer learns how to do something for themselves,
they'll lose that customer's business.
My belief is that the more a computer user knows, the better.
If you have to fix the same thing over and over, the customer
will become resentful. If I fix a problem once, then show the
customer how I did it, they now have the choice of handling the
problem themselves or not.

Website Design Approach
Too many developers fall into the trap of using "gee-whiz"
features like Flash, or excessive JavaScript for DHTML. These
technologies, while looking cool, slow down the average web surfer
who wants one thing: information. The simpler the layout, and
the quicker a webpage loads, the better. Of course, that doesn't
mean we can't have some style to a site. Some times a flash animation
is useful for well explaining a procedure. But a clean, well laid-out
site always makes a surfer happy.
Billing Fees
Many web development companies charge upwards of $100 and hour.
My current rate is set at $40 Canadian per hour, billed in 15
minute increments.
For on site service, the rates are the same, with a minimum charge
of $40. However, I currently have a no fix, no charge policy for
on site service.
We make your business our business.
